From Minefields to Moonshots

At six, I escaped Cambodian minefields. At sixteen, I was homeless. By thirty, I was building the world's most beloved brands and products.

The path from refugee camps to rocket ships taught me that transformation is systematic, not lucky. Over twenty years, I've mastered that system—taking companies from zero to billion-dollar valuations across AI, Web3, aerospace, SaaS, and gaming. Building products, teams, and systems that turn startups into market-defining movements.

Today: CEO of Wondr (redistributing the internet's value from platforms to people). Advisor to founders navigating product-market fit, fundraising, growth, and the momentum that makes ideas inevitable. My mission remains constant: democratize opportunity through technology.

Survival School

Escaped through landmines in Cambodia at six. Survived refugee camps and forced labor. Homeless at sixteen, but put myself through UC Berkeley. Learned that discipline, imagination, and resilience can alchemize even scarcity into possibility.

The Product Years

Built and launched products, brands, and communities that made people feel, and turned fans into believers. Led global campaigns for Star Wars, Tomb Raider, and Nintendo, learning how story and execution makes movements.

The Builder Phase

I brought product and brand-building discipline into startups. At AdRoll, I helped drive it to #1 on the Inc. 500 with 16,000 customers. At Sojern, I contributed to $10B in travel bookings. At Eventbrite, I aligned teams for a successful IPO. And at YouCaring, I elevated the brand, helping raise over $1B in donations and leading to the acquisition by GoFundMe. Sustainable growth, I learned, comes from clarity, community, and purpose in motion.

The Frontier

At the edge of innovation, I’ve helped define markets where technology meets human meaning. From repositioning Relativity Space to help secure a $140M Series C, to scaling Akash Network to a nine-figure market cap, to raising $10M pre-seed for Laconic, I’ve built the brands and systems that move markets. I’m creating Wondr, the ownership layer of the Internet, and helping others build what’s next.
